What You Need to Apply
- A valid TfL private hire driver's licence, often called a PCO licence
- Experience driving in the UK, ideally in the private hire or taxi trade
- Good knowledge of local roads, stations, parks, restaurants and venues
- A friendly, welcoming manner with every passenger
- Good timekeeping, and a calm head in rush-hour traffic
- A smart appearance and a professional driving style
About your vehicle
Tell us whether you have your own TfL licensed vehicle when you apply. If you drive an estate, an MPV or a 6, 7 or 8 seater, say so, because larger cars suit our group and airport work.
